LabGenetics’ Genetics Unit has been the first, in the Community of Madrid, to receive the sanitary authorization to open and work, by the Dirección General de Calidad, Acreditación, Evaluación e Inspección of the CONSEJERÍA DE SANIDAD Y CONSUMO (Sanitary License n º CS13269).
LabGenetics has the ISO 9001:2015 certification. The company has met the technical and methodological standards to obtain the accreditation by the norm UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025, in Forensics Genetics, and the norm UNE-EN ISO 15189, in Clinical Genetics.
LabGenetics’ professionals are members of the International Society of Forensics Genetics (ISFG), to the Group of Spanish and Portuguese Speech of the ISFG (GHEP-ISFG), to the Spanish Society of Human Genetics (AEGH), to the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG) and to the Spanish Society of Prenatal Diagnosis (AEDP).
LabGenetics takes part in the Quality Controls organized by the GHEP-ISFG and by the European Molecular Genetics Quality Network (EMQN). The company follows, all the analyses, adapted procedures, and protocols according to the recommendations of the ISFG, EMQN, EDNAP (European DNA Profiling Group), ENFSI (European Network of Forensic Science Institutes) and UK Clinical Molecular Genetics Society.
LabGenetics’ professionals are certified as Forensic Experts, and are thus able to appear in Spanish court to ratify issued reports.
LabGenetics provides absolute confidentiality in all our services. The company meets the Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights and our databases are inserted in the Spanish Agency of Data Protection, for a better control and security.
